FO Friday! I want candy...And cows...And monsters...And a scarf!

Well my crafting for the past few weeks has been kind of all over the place. I started about six different projects and hadn't really followed through on anything. I have so many ideas and projects that I want to do going around in my head that I can't seem to commit to any one thing. I know we all have times like this. Add to this the fact that I haven't been feeling very well and I have a lot of half done Amis and other projects lying around the house. So I finally decided to buckle down and finish some of these things up!

First up is a little monster I call Peppermint Candy Surprise.

WIP Wednesday: Beautiful Black Swan Pattern Test

One of my favorite things about Ravelry is that you can interact with the designers and even get to test out patterns for them before they release to the general public.  It's kind of like having your roommate read over your term paper to check for grammatical and spelling errors before you turn it in.

FO Friday: Ice Cream Monster!

Well I didn't finish my cow but I got this idea in my head, from a picture my daughter drew and  I just had to see if I could turn it into an amigurumi.  I recently took a class on Craftsy.com on how to design your own monster, so I asked my 5 year old to draw some monsters for me and I would try to turn them into a stuffed animal.  Here is the drawing that I got...

Well, the first "work in progress" I have today is actually already done...lol.  It started out the day as a WIP and I finished it before I realized it was Wednesday.  So anyway here is my finished momma and baby birdies.

WIP Wednesday: Amigurumi Giraffe & Beaded Crocodile Stitch Bag

Well I currently have two projects going at the moment.  The first is this cute giraffe.

He is almost done, all I have left to do is attach the legs, make a tail and give him a "mane" that will run from the top of his head down the back of his neck.  I can't wait to see the finished project!

Second is this awesome beaded crocodile stitch bag that I am making for my mother.
